What made energy stand out to you during interviews?
I found the engineering aspect very interesting and believe this segment of the market will continue to experience substantial growth in the long term.

Why did you choose your company?
The company, in spite of having a $4B market cap, is still a relatively small player in the industry and has a very entrepreneurial culture to it. There are extremely few MBAs within the company which made it an attractive opportunity to me. Oceaneering is also a vital player in deepwater offshore technology.

Summarize your summer internship, the good, the bad and the overall.
Ultimately, I decided not to return to the company for some of the very reasons I initially found it attractive. Personally, the firm was perhaps "too entrepreneurial" for me. However, I think the benefit of working there would be the prospects of the quick execution of new ideas, strategies, and businesses in an industry that has historically been considered "slow" and resistant to change.
