What made investment banking stand out to you during interviews?
My perception of the content of the work (both analytical and relationship based), personality fit, and the chance to witness/influence major corporate decisions.

Why did you choose Credit Suisse?
Based on my interactions with CS employees during the recruiting process, I felt I would enjoy working for the organization. I wanted to work in Leveraged Finance and Credit Suisse has a great reputation in this area.

Summarize your summer internship, the good, the bad and the overall.
I had a great summer and will be returning to CS full-time. I worked in the Financial Sponsors group, which was an interesting place to be, given the credit crunch. The most notable deal I worked on was Warburg Pincus' purchase of Bausch and Lomb. Overall, Credit Suisse was a great summer experience, I felt I got a real view of Investment Banking, learned a lot, and found the people to be genuine and supportive.
