What made real estate stand out to you during interviews?
I had experience investing in bonds backed by residential real estate prior to business school and really wanted to explore commercial real estate. Commercial real estate assets include more property types and typically have more capital investment associated with investments. I was very interested in learning how to value these assets and work at a commercial real estate company for the summer.

Why did you choose ProLogis?
I spoke with a HBS alum who had positive experience during his summer internship. He introduced me to ProLogis employees at HBS's annual real estate conference and I was very impressed with the people that I met. Additionally, within the industry ProLogis is a very well respected company with a very well organized and developed summer internship program designed to help its employees learn and experience the amazing culture.

Summarize your summer internship, the good, the bad and the overall.
ProLogis has a very organized program with great interns from a variety oftop business schools. ProLogis made the move to Denver for the summer very easy by arranging our housing. The people at the company were very nice, smart, and willing to answer all of my on the job questions. I can't think of anything I would change about my summer experience at ProLogis.
