THE BEST: What would you not have missed for the world? What encapsulates the best of HBS? "Great personal and learning experience." "I would not have missed the wonderful time I had sharing the HBS experience with my wife, preparing for our future together. (1) comment
On April 28, the Harbus Foundation held its annual grant ceremony - awarding seven $10,000 grants to selected nonprofit organizations. The event was held in the Gallatin Lounge on the campus of the Harvard Business School in Boston, Massachusetts. "The funds will have a really profound impact on the organizations we have chosen, given that this has been an especially challenging fundraising year for most non-profits," said Heidi Yip (MBA '09), an outgoing member of the Board of Directors at The Harbus News Corporation, who was also integrally involved with the Foundation's undertakings. I want to share the best sliver of advice I have been given in the last ten years - because it has made all the difference in the world for me. Had it not been for this advice, I would never have applied to HBS for fear of its daunting 88% rejection rate: "Don't be afraid of failing. (0) comments

Spring is an exciting time here at HBS. We finally get to see HBS the way it looked in all the brochures! It is also a time to give back to the community and worthwhile causes. Last week, Section H had their charity auction at the Harvard Club in Boston. It was incredible to see 100% of the section donate items for bidding and get involved in the process. (0) comments

While trekking across campus last week, you may have noticed an abnormal amount of green shirts being worn, especially on Wednesday, April 22nd. Don't be alarmed, HBS didn't have any late St. Patty's Day celebration, nor did your section have a theme day that you missed out on, it was merely Earth Day, a time for HBS to celebrate its commitment to sustainability.
