John Whitehead, a Leader in the Private, Public and Not-profit Sectors, Speaks at HBS

John C. Whitehead (HBS '47) recounted his life of leadership, and the lessons he learned along the way, to a packed Spangler Auditorium at a keynote event organized by the Social Enterprise Club and co-sponsored by the Finance Club and Real Estate Club on March 2.

Dana Gioia, Chairman of the NEA and Former VP, at General Foods, Speaks at Radcliffe Yard

Dana Gioia, Chairman of the National Endowment for the Arts, spoke to an audience at Radcliffe Yard last month. Nominated by President George W. Bush in January 2003 and unanimously confirmed by the U.S. Senate, Dana Gioia began his term as the ninth Chairman of the National Endowment for the Arts in February 2003.

Like most of the other ECs, I don't want to think about our impending graduation, but we must prepare for the sad reality of leaving HBS. Following a month's break after our final exams, we will return to school for Graduation Week. The first official event of Graduation Week will begin on Tuesday, June 8th with the section dinners.

A veteran Fidelity portfolio manager visited the HBS campus on February 24 to give students a snapshot of the company's research operations. Jeff Feingold, (HBS '87), serves as Co-Director of Research for Analysts within Fidelity Management & Research (FMR), a position he accepted just four months ago.

A new force is taking Harvard University by storm. It is called The Network at Harvard, the first and only network organization uniting all of Harvard University's graduate school women from the graduate schools of arts and sciences, business, law, government, medicine, education, public health, divinity, dentistry and design.
