Spring Break
During the Fall semester, HBS volunteers and the freshman students from Cambridge Ridge and Latin School (CRLS) worked together to compete in the state wide Junior Achievement (JA) Titan competition. The culmination of everyone's hard work was 14 CRLS teams reaching the semi-finals in December.
For two days over this past Valentine's Day weekend, students and speakers from around the globe attended the 2003 Asia Business Conference, which featured a stellar roster of speakers, a cocktail party at the Fogg Art Museum, a career fair, and culminated in a Valentine's Day Dinner, Ball and Casino Night at the Charles Hotel.
During last week's snow disaster, which covered the North Atlantic seaboard in a thick blanket of snow while sending Washington D.C. into the stone ages, I learned a lot while trapped in my girlfriend's apartment without cable or the ability to leave her complex.

Over Martin Luther King Jr. weekend, on Saturday January 18th, while attending a McKinsey Consulting Business conference in Dallas, Texas, Matt Turner (OC), Section President and a Captain in the U.S. Air Force Reserves was detained and questioned for over an hour by local police; in a confusing, bewildering, and humiliating course of events, Turner, an African American, was held in handcuffs as a suspect of a crime that witnesses reported was committed by four white males.
